please enlighten me...
Like Bubble Boy, only in a box. And without any pants. No amount of enlightenment will make the least sense of it. (Oh, that scans funny!) Also there was some singing.

I was visiting last week (just got back last night) and picked 14/48 out of a lineup of Things That Might Be Interesting To Do While On Vacation (you can take the theater fag out of the city, but you can't take the, ah, um...desire for, ah...theater? Out of the...ah...FORGET IT!). And then Mr. Nelson was there (surprise!), and so clearly I made one good decision while on vacation.
(Actually, I made two: I also bought every record Heather told me to buy.)

ahhhh, I see, it all makes sense now...except this dick cheney thing. Vacations are awesome.
Did you have a good time? How was Seattle in the winter?
Nothing beats theather for unexplainable, unintelligible, unreproducable events that make you want to come back tomorrow.
(However, here in the midwest, any time anything good pops up, it immediately moves toward the coasts and never comes back. I'm sure there's a soap-bubble physics equation that explains it...)

Seattle in the winter was a gdmnd sauna compared with the knife-wind that's coasting through NYC right now. There was a "blizzard" the day we arrived, which I guess amounted to a few inches of slush and lots of closed Starbuckses. Had myself a good time, though, a whole week with old friends and a stress level way below sea level. My brain's all doughy now. Thanks, The Northwest. You and your record stores are way better than not having them.
