It's a brand-new magazine.
Clicky!

Not only do they have a "feature and/or interview" with/about the Long Winters, but they're also pimping out the Hold Steady (shameless plug!), Iron and Wine (!!), and the Wrens (!!!). Plus, there are illustrations by the infinitely amazing Jay Ryan, and you get a 6-song 12", too -- alas, no TLW contribution on the "exclusive music" tip. Still: goddamn!
When you look at it that way, $12 (+ $4 shipping) ain't so bad now, is it?

Disclaimer: no, I do not work for these dudes. I do, however, have a soft spot for a) independent press, b) screenprinted covers, c) anything to do with Craig Finn, and d) many, many things that come out of Minnesota's Twin Cities.

Dan Ibarra! Michael Byzewski!

I LOVE Aesthetic Apparatus. In fact, I'm still smarting from not ordering one of thier Lucinda Williams posters before they were sold out.

This magazine is gorgeous. That alone sells me ...and then there's more?!

I better get in on this before I gush to death...

Kathryn, you can come over and play it on my turntable.

Or you can come over and I can play you my own copy on my turntable.

Fess up: your point of sale was the Wrenseses track, right?

(BECAUSE MINE WASN'T. NOPE. NO LYING GOING ON HERE.)
