this Wednesday live audio/video stream

Postby Liesbeth » Mon May 17, 2004 10:59 am

this Wednesday 19 May, TLW play live at the Club3voor12 show for VPRO dutch radio.
It will be webcast in audio and video live and you check it out later as well.
To listen or watch live: not sure if it's through a link at this page where you listen to the archive later, or whether you have to go to the Live Webradio or Live Webtv links in the menu at the top of the page. What I do know is that you need a recent version of Realplayer.

The show is from 10 pm to 1 am Central European Time (NY time = minus 6, Pacific time minus 9, Australian time sometime Thursday :-), and although at first I thought that they might be in the second hour, now I'm not sure if they aren't in the first hour. Which might mean they are actually in the last hour, so there you have it.

If you want to come out, there are still plenty of free guestlist places available - when they should bloody well sell out. Literally I mean, not in a 'shedding their indie cred' kinda way...

Wat een gezeik zeg!
The presenter of Wednesday's radio show always writes a review of the three bands, and he wasn't too impressed with TLW's radio performance. Check it out for yourself, I'd say, audio link to all four songs and video link for Blue Diamonds.
Jaap Boots is entitled to his opinion of course, but I'm kinda pissed off that he didn't bother to know that TLW play Amsterdam on Sunday, instead of Thursday as he said. That's his job...

Oh, and for the fun of it, a review of the Austerlitz gig, which says that I'm to thank for booking them there. Well, maybe my will power worked it's magic, but other than that... My husband gets a plug though, so that's nice.

you need the latest realplayer for it, otherwise it will do zilch

oh Betty, you should have seen the congregation of female fans around Eric afterwards ;-)

I think a compliment is in order for John's Holland attire. Only a few weeks until the European Soccer Championships!

I loved John's Holland outfit as well.
I bet he bought it a week earlier in a small shop opposite the "Vooruit" in Gent (?).
Are The Long Winters soccer fans ?
