Liesbeth, "just for the fun of it" went out the day the Blue Meanies took over OZ and chased Meg and Charles Wallace, and Hazel, Fiver and Bigwig out of Pooh Corner and into the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm.

I haven't the faintest what John is talking about, but somehow I think it could lead to inspiration for a goth version of Blue Diamonds. You know, just for the fun of it.

Now, I've figured out the verses, but does anybody know chords for the chorus? I'm real close, but a little unsure still.

Thanks!

Don't quote me on this, but it's something like this:

(A) Stupid (D) You can call it that
(A) Stupid (D) But you have no idea
(A) How (D) stupid I (A) would feel (E) if fif(A)teen (D) years from (A) now I (E) see her and she (A) says why (D) didn't it ever hap(A)pen between us (F*), Stupid? (D) (A)

*Sometimes I hear this F chord more like an F with a lowered fifth. So instead of a standard F barre chord, play it with a B instead of a C. I could be wrong though

Is done now. I played ukulele, toy piano and erhu (Chinese violin).

All recording done using built-in mic on powerbook. I'm posting this using generator gas right now. It's so dark outside.

The samples are from Brian Eno's "Over Fire Island," Heather Nova's "I'm On Fire" and Fountains of Wayne's "Fire Island." Because I'm OCD like that, and they happened to be on the iTunes.

here. or navigate as for the previous one. I may decide to remix it a little because the effects seem kinda heavy. On the other hand, it's supposed to be lo fi.

Survivalist indie.

(hell, i can't upload tonight. i might try tomorrow at work. where electric things work!)
