Extra music is what I meant.

Although, I'm not the master of stick figures, so I could sharpie on a leap in honor of the falling autumn season!

The stick figure comment went with what LoveSickJerk said, and their liner notes. But that's okay, Leaves are awesome (barely any cool trees in the south here). Maybe you can color them in? I've never been the best color-er. ;D

I cannot guarantee quality or unfamiliarity of my song choices, but I would be down to engage in this mix as well.

When I Pretend to Autumn... PRICELESS.

I would love to participate, but unfortunatly, I can't be depended on to construct a mix so I will just watch from afar.

I want to say, however, that I always fully INTEND to make a mix, and that I spend a lot of time THINKING about making a great one. But that somehow, the actually making of the the mix eludes me.

(It's a shame you can't go to Sam's club and buy fresh mixes like you can buy cupcakes for your birthday.)

perhaps I should run an 'intended mix swap' on the side, where you can just send a list of songs out and let the other person enjoy the intention, if not the actual music?

Nothing beats droping Smokey Robinson lyrics in message board-conversations.

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you:
the When I Pretend to Autumn mix swap 2005

The draw has resulted in the following teams:
LoveSickJerk - Zach
No You Are - Karousme
sabirah - Yarn
grant - miriyummy
Jeannette311 - icapants
ChadyzGroove - Unremarkable

Get in touch with your partner via PM or other communication of choice, and work out the details between yourselves. Unless you agree otherwise, the deadline will be 21 December!

There was an odd number, so I left myself out - which is fine, since I've only just completed my Spring swaps (ahem). But if anyone was too late to join or, heaven forbid, is orphaned, I will be on back-up swap duty.

And for the Intended mix swap:
Betty Felon - Liz
Ladies, if you are still up for it, please exchange your intended mixes before 21 December, and feel free to post them here, if you dare.

Karousme and I have completed the swap... and I know I am loving what I got "Soft and Crispy Browns"... now THAT is a fall mix CD name.

And Liesbeth... dont' get jealous that I completed this swap in a couple weeks while it took me about a full season to get you your tunes... look at it as a teacher would a promising student. YOU taught me to get mixes done on time.

I'm not one to say anything, it took me nearly as long, remember
But I'm glad you took something with you from the experience
