wow, welcome.
this is an interesting way to introduce yourself. Not just the notion of picking foods, but also not being able to choose just like 5 or 10 foods, but going the whole range from sweet to savoury.

Now I feel an urge to have lunch!

Welcome, and thanks for making me hungry! :) I'm especially pleased to see tortilla chips and cheese and sour cream in your list, as my favorite snack is homemade nachos. Mm, taco shredded cheese..

Little known fact: The design for the tart 'n' tiny was based on a nipple.

Mmm....nachos....

I was just introduced to the most wonderful recipe. Take equal parts warmed cream cheese and your favorite salsa. Mix. Eat with chips. It's fabulous.

LOL I meant I ate lunch before I read this thread the first time around 12! LOL!

My aunt used to make taco salad as such:

mix cream cheese and a bit of sour cream together, add taco seasoning.

Layer the mixture in baking dish or platter.

Top with salsa, cheese, shredded lettuce, olives, whatever you want.

eat with tortiall chips.

It's SO GOOD!!!

Damn. It's after midnight and now I'm hungry! =D

Circus Peanuts? Haven't had them in years and years and years.

When we were kids we would dare somebody to stuff about 8 in their mouth then take a big swig of Coke. Nothing like watching orangy-brown circus peanut-coky foam shoot out of somebody's nose.

you guys actually ATE circus peanuts?

I classified that shit with the other gross old people candy: black licorice (which I now like), bit o honey (still gross), candy corn (barf city), jelly-beans other than jelly-bellys, hard candy where the wrapper is stuck to the candy, and chuckles (disgusting).

exceptions were made for the rock hard bazzoka gum chunks (because they came with a comic, unfunny as it was) and those carmel things with the white sugar stuff in the middle. those were acceptable.

I'd like to shake that man's hand. I'm assuming the inventor was a man.

1. What *kind* of burritos? What *kind* of ramen noodles?

2. Bit-O-Honeys are delicious.

Wow, Betty, aside from jellybeans, you just listed every single kind of disgusting candy I've ever heard of (including some I haven't -- chuckles?).

I always loved jellybeans. Until they age of six, I really thought my middle name was Jellybeana.

good questions, given the amount of detail in which most foods are described.
Have to say that half of them I either don't know, or if I've heard of them, I haven't a clue what they taste like. Food is such a cultural thing.

Is there anyone else here who likes to eat cereal late at night? It's the perfect thing just before going to bed, it's light.
Yes, I know it's not the usual time of day, and yes, I do sometimes eat it for breakfast... or lunch, or mid-afternoon snack.

That's me for sure. I love cereal day or night. What kind of cereal do you eat? Is it some fancy European cereal? Is European cereal even the same thing as American cereal, or is it some sort of soccer/football thing?
