If its on the internet, 9 times out of ten its main purpose is to promote excellence in time wasting.

I starting putting in my favorite bands to see what came up as close...and *blip* I time traveled 3 hours into the future....

I don't get that thing. It seems like one person somewhere entered their five favorite bands. Surely not that many Long Winters fans listen to the Love-cars?

Someone tell the maker of that site that the whole procrastinating nature of the net relies entirely on links.

Never having heard of the Love-Cars, if there had been a link so I could have checked them out instantly, I would have. Now I had to manually try www.love-cars.com (bingo on first try) which is a real hassle for lazy people like me - so I didn't bother until now, and only because the topic is bumped.

Personally, I don't think the Love-Cars will be my next favourite band, but I'll give them a little more of a chance.

No offense to the ldubs OR the lcars, but i had a lot of fun with that site when I typed in Velvet Underground. Johnny Cash was somehow out there in their periphery (perhaps he dated Nico) and then I went to him and it just got weirder and weirder.

But it also reminded me to go play with sodaconstructor. timewasters rule!
