Ok, after a little bit or trepidation, I'm down.

trepidation?
as in anxiety, or

no, no, no, the swap is excitement in the good sense, it's goose bumps in anticipation, it's palpitations because of the coolness of giving out music and getting some back...
I'm glad you're down (in the good sense) after all!

Right, the cards have been dealt, the dice have been cast, and here's the teaming up:

zach - miriyummy
whatthedickens - philistien
theplacidcasual - the new girl
Unremarkable - sabirah
Burning Bride #7 - LoveSickJerk
icapants - Sally
Fi - chelsea
Liesbeth - grant

Please contact your swappee through pm to get things rolling. I will be away for a few days, and have no time right now to send a pm to everyone taking part about the teaming up. So hopefully everyone checks the board in the near future, while in the meantime I visit Dokkum, the Frisian city famous for being the place where priest Bonifatius was killed, back in the early Middle Ages... Ah, you weren't actually interested in that, maybe?

is this due to the fact that just like morissey - the participants got bored before they even began???

I've made my CDs and am waiting til I get back from Spring Break to post them. I didn't get bored, I had playlists set up before we even had partners assigned. :)

I've had great swapping experience with the new girl. I think she can get very busy at times, so give it a bit more time...

I'm very busy thinking about it, more so than actually making anything. But I'm not bored, thankfully.

Not bored, just busy--sorry about my dissappearing act. I was at a meeting/conference, writing a midterm and trying to get a paper into publication the last couple weeks, but I've been working on the mix while sitting in airports/on planes so it's coming along pretty well...and the next couple weeks aren't quite as crazy so I should make some real progress soon.

Yikes, I've been crazy busy as well with so many deadlines at work and I'm in the process of selling my house too. Definitely no bordome here!

I've got a song list and have all the songs ripped from their cd's and pulled into a folder on my computer....now they just need to be arranged and burned. Soon, very soon...!

although it's still freezing here at night, it's now officially Spring in some parts of the world. Congratulations and I hope your Spring swaps are all going well.

I would speak sternly of deadlines, but the reality is I have only started making mine in my head, so I'm not really one to speak on this matter. If anyone else feels the inclination to speak sternly, be my guest.

No rush. Thanks, though. Don't even worry about how quickly yours get here. I'm a poor college student. Believe me, I understand. I didn't "spring" either....haha. :)
