Hey pancakes this is kind of an aside - but you mentioned homeless and Austin - and I just saw this documentary "Art From the Streets" a guy did on the art program they have at one of the homeless shelters there where they have a huge annual art sale. Have you heard of it?

I would also read your book - readership is up to 3!

C-dog, I had not heard of "Art from the Streets". The homeless shelter that this program runs out of, ARCH, is for adults. Unfortunately, I am primarily familiar with the youth programs in Austin. I work for LifeWorks and our shelters are strictly for youth. It sounds really amazing though. I can see how the art would come from very emotionally inspired artists this way. Thanks for turning me on to it.

aj, LoveSickJerk - nanowrimo?

Liesbeth, I've only recently learned how to make regular pancakes and already I need to invent some type of non-perishable pancake to go with the book. Would a freeze dried pancake be acceptable? Maybe such a food already exists for astronaut types. I suppose I could always just invite all 4 or 5 people who are reading the book over and make them pancakes live.

and this topic says more about that writing thingie of which I never can remember the name.
LSJ, you really must get a bit better at promoting it, after all you are a regional coordinator now.
