I just made a trip down to Houston again tonight to see Minus The Bear in a smaller venue than those in Austin. They were good and did many new songs, however, one of their opening bands made my ears want to cry.

Husky Rescue has an interesting sound. Try the song "Summertime Cowboy". Also, I know a lot of y'all got to hear What Made Milwaukee Famous on this TLW tour. They are one of my favorite bands right now, imo, there is a lot of variety on their LP.

They were damn good. If anyone wants a free sample of what they sound like, I have a soundboard recording up on TLW Music Page. The sound is fantabulous. I bought their album immediately after their set.

Because they're good.

Wow. I'd forgotten how much I love that website. Genius!

What's nice is the way they organize tracks by artist, now, too -- just one click, and you get all all Jordan Seavers' (or whoever's) contributions in one handy playlist.

Is that not Death Cab's contribution to the new The Band tribute?

From the Endless Highway tribute, due out Jan. 30. This site streams some of the tracks, but I don't see the Death Cab one.

I was just coming here to post that. Look 14 tracks down.
I can't get it to play, however.
