i've been illustrating a very sad short story for my publishing class, and my mood has suffered greatly under the weight of the words. the good news is my instructor was pleased with my visual representation.
thanks HW... i really needed that. when it comes to things that will truly make anyone live longer, laughter is always in tandem with love.

For most, love's too elusive, but you can always find something to laugh about...

Haha, and it took me so long to word that statement and not put innuendo in there. Foiled again.

Exactly. Particularly car windows fogged up on yesterday's cold winter day...backseat even. Ridiculously cold here...there was a layer of ice on the inside that wouldn't go away.

Anyway, another thing worth living for, definitely warm towels from the dryer.

"I was struck by how laughter connects you with people. It's almost impossible to maintain any kind of distance or any sort of social hierarchy when you're just howling with laughter. Laughter is a force for democracy." - John Cleese, in that video Harvey Winters linked to.

I think those are his choice of haircuts. Unless he gives the haircuts. Liesbeth, can you clarify?

I could spin you a yarn, but quite frankly, nope. You could phone Theme Traders to get some clarification.
Which reminds me, Crank Yankers was a reason to live - talk about healthy laughter, plus it had a killer theme tune.

Craig Ferguson being funny by being sincere and refusing to be mean.

YouTube. I know nothing about Craig Ferguson, but I'm inclined to like him for that.

thanks grant... sorry i've taken so long to reply to your lovely sense of humor... i had a really ugly migraine that lasted through much of the weekend... and finally forced a trip to the dr's office where an injection led to lotsa sleep... i'm still kinda groggy.
the craig ferguson monologue was my favorite, because he took the high road on an issue that is an easy joke for less sensitive people to make... i hope when britney gets help, she gets an opportunity to thank him for his kind, non-judgmental support. he's a winner in my mind too. (;-D)
