I tried sounding this out phonetically, which didn't work.

I kept thinking, "Maybe Patrick meant 'Why, eeeeee-yes!' or something."

Now I get it (5 minutes later.)

No, it is more of a lack of time because of those projects, that I don't get to do stuff like the mix swap. Zombiemo! takes a lot of time.

with sincere apologies to Grant for missing his very clear YES, I give you the random (well, in order of signing on, actually) pairing up for the Spring Mix Swap:

kaiden - Sally
grant - zach
philistien - kyle_s9
Burning Bride #7 - the new girl
Patr!ck - A mess

and virtual non-existent swap: Squid - Betty

for all you actual swappers: please contact your partner by pm, and sort out the details between yourselves. Unless you agree otherwise, the deadline for this is 15 May. And I will be hard on any lingerers and loiterers - as hard as any spam will promise you and then some.

Happy swapping!

Yep- successful swappage has indeed occurred!

A mix CD has got to be one of the best little gifts, yes? It just keeps on giving- I am still enjoying my last 3 also!

Thanks again, kaiden!

Mine is sealed and ready to go, but I can't seem to get the motivation to swing by the Post Office.

That was my problem last time, BB#7. In fact, that's been my problem so many times with so many things. Everything sits here beside me for weeks and weeks until the guilt becomes unbearable. THEN, I finally get around to doing it. I had to sit out this time for just that reason.

My problem every freaking time. Ask Sally. She was my partner for last years spring swap and didn't get her cd until November. That's part of why I decided to sit this one out.

Oh, that's just part of the *fermenting* process. It makes the CDs rounder and more full-bodied!

Oh yeah, I forgot how great my mix was. Now I should go back and listen to it on repeat another hundred times...

I love all mix CDs, even (especially?) the ones I make. heh.

I'm psyched for the next installment.

I'm not gonna lie. I made the mix, put it in a jewel case and lost track of it months later. I just never got the motivation to get an envelope or something and mail it away.

In my defense, I never received a CD either. I'm sure A Mess and I were both sitting with it on the desk saying "When I get one in the mail I'll have to send it out.
