JV tour

Post by Ellen »

Anybody else a Vanderslice fan? I just got the quarterly email list update from him and it says this....

"If you'd like to sing LEAD VOCALS on a song, please find us before the show and we'll bring you onstage. Try to learn two songs in case we don't know your first choice. If you want to PLAY BASS, bring it (don't worry about the amp) and learn either 424 or My Old Flame. It'll be a free for all."

Damn! That's awesome! Too bad there's no way I can see them.

Shit. Anyone have a tab for My Old Flame on bass? :)

That's one of my favourite JV songs. <3

I saw that from his myspace bulletin and thought "Oh! If only I had any sort of musical talent, whatsoever!"

well...although i'm all for fan participation, I think I do prefer JV to sing his own songs.

sort of on topic: I like it how on his solo tour he would ask people on stage to handclap on Pale Horse - the show I saw he got the two guys from support act Anderson on stage for this

Funny -- 424 and My Old Flame are the two songs I first heard from him.

I wonder if he's playing near me.

Oooooooh, Denton's awfully close! And folks I can drag with me, too...this may be too tempting to resist, damnit.

As for the singing...well, I don't know about that.
