Garfield Minus Garfield - http://garfieldminusgarfield.tumblr.com

I know everyone in the blogosphere has already posted a link to this brilliant site, but I couldn't help but join in on the fun. I think I'm actually more into these Garfield strips with the title character edited out than I ever was into the originals.

Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolor disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life?

Artistically, however, g w/o g has, as a friend put it, a 'certain minimalist edge.'
