Things that make me not smile at all

Postby Betty Felon » Thu Oct 30, 2008 6:12 pm

Witnessing an old fart rip the Obama sticker off my car while muttering about terrorists and distributing wealth. What an asshole!

Furthermore, that was the first bumper sticker I ever put on my car and Obama is the first politician that I've ever in my life actually believed in and genuinely liked.

Plus I liked that sticker! It had great design:

RIP Cool Meaningful Sticker.

I hope your dumb ugly McCain pin pokes you a thousand times in your old wrinkly shriveled heart, you Jerk Republican Sticker Ripper! You can go kick rocks!

PS: All your friends pal around with a VANDAL.

PPS. Your momma is fat.

did you throw the first amendment at him, preferably in the place where it hurts most?

I didn't realize the McCain campaign had gotten so desperate. Although I have to say on both sides the candidates will do everything to get votes, both Obama and Palin tried to register to this board in the past few days! Why they used very disguised e-mail addresses when their user name was so obvious I don't know, but I put it down to campaign stress. Perhaps it will cheer you up to imagine the two of them rocking out to The Long Winters. Shapes might be appropriate for the occasion.

That is my favorite Obama sticker - by far. I saw it on a car the other day and thought about how it is by far the best I have seen. Kinda old school, but original too.

Don't worry about that old coot. When the US doesn't become a muslim theocracy next year, he will be totally confused.

On a happy note, both my grandpas (one a WWII vet) and my grandmother all voted for Obama. If old, white, rural people like that can pull the lever, there is hope for society after all. I don't know them to have ever voted for a non-republican.

I was proud.

No way, Obama loves the Long Winters!

He was sincere, Liesbeth :(. Why do you have to be so suspicious? :(

OK, maybe not *love*.

I would love to see Indiana turn blue. Please Please Please Please.

NoYouAre, I know! That sticker is gorge. My mom offered me her Obama08 normal official campaign sticker, and...it just doesn't have the same pizzaz.

And yeah, the whole Racists for Obama thing is the weirdest trend I've ever seen. But I think the proper response is: ok, whatever, kthxbai!

If it makes you feel any better, you get people like this in every country. I should know, cos according to some recent events here, it appears that I live in MoronCentral.

Oh and since there was talk about Obama being "socialist", I remember when Shirley MacLaine visited the Vienna Opera Ball a couple of years ago and she said "Ooh I had no idea such an event was possible in a socialist country." Yep. facepalm

Nothing happens. :P I wouldn't mind having the sticker there win or lose. It was a great sticker and the man has already done a lot of good.

I just hope he gets elected. For the sake of all stripes of American politics, and for the whole world.

i guess what i mean is, for political bumper stickers they are really only good for a short amount of time. i guess you can always show whose side you're on or show pride in who you voted for but let's say in 2012 you're driving around with a kerry bumper sticker. see what i'm sayin? :)

well, good luck to all of you who will take the time to queue and vote, whatever you're voting for - and remember, the whole world is watching you. Especially if you live in a swing state. Rock 'n roll!

When I heard that Virginia turned blue this time, I immediately had to think of this. What the pfuck? Sweet. =D

EDIT: I totally forgot that one of my colleagues is in NYC this week. She just wrote she hasn't seen anything like this since the Berlin Wall came down.
