having spent very little time on the internet lately I cannot link to anything interesting in cyberspace. However, in real life there is plenty interesting stuff happening: the crocuses have come into bloom!
which I guess brings on the annual question: is it spring where you are?

Re: crocuses
The first crocus in my yard bloomed last weekend...but we don't really have a serious winter here in the NW. When I lived in the midwest, seeing one emerge from under some melted snow was a real source of inspiration.

Re: crocuses
No crocuses here, but it's oddly warm. However, I don't trust it...no siree.
I'm watching you, Weather! I know you are a lying trickster. You won't fool me again...

Re: crocuses
We're miles away from anything remotely connected to spring, but this morning it was nice and sunny and I heard birds sing outside. Tomorrow we'll be back to rain and cold.

Re: crocuses
Spring is trying to convince me it is here, but I am in Betty's camp. Not buying it.
The snow in Iowa is like the bad guy in a horror movie. When you think it is dead and gone, there is always one more flurry before it is all over.

It's exactly the same here. Creepy. Looks like the weather's finally ganging up on humanity.
