What english sounds like to non-english speakers

Postby Moni » Sun Feb 14, 2010 4:02 am

"This Italian parody of a 60s/70s pop song is sung entirely in gibberish designed to sound like American English. If you've ever wondered what other people think Americans sound like, this is it."
God I love the 70's.

Brilliant. That is exactly what most of the lyrics of our new record sound like.

Impressive! Though I was equally struck by the use of mirrors...evoked a disconcerting memory of a dancing in front of mirrors to Shriekback at a teen dance/juice bar back in the 80s...

I wouldn't be surprised if critics found that less upsetting than your outrageous use of one-word choruses.
