I'm moving soon, and that means I've been cleaning out my closet lately.
In there I found a rare shirt.
It's from a benefit show for the University of Washington's Comparative History of Ideas department - John's old stomping grounds - and the lineup at the (old) Croc that night was TLW, Poseur, and Light Heavyweight. The artwork is by Shawn Wolfe.
It's a "Port and Company" 100% cotton t-shirt in very light gray. I don't know how I ended up with an XL size, but here it is. It is way too big for me and as a result has rarely if ever been worn. Smells fresh, like it just came out of your mom's laundry.
If you know the date and year this concert was played, answer via comment on the blog thread and I'll send it to you for free.

Re: Old Rare T-shirt & Trivia Contest
Well, I figured it out, aka googled it, but I can't respond on the blog because "You must be logged in to post a comment." and I don't have a login for the DorsiaFilms site.
This page told me Friday, 11/1/2002. Also, the library [duh] has the info.

The trivia question wasn't hard, I know. Duh.
The login problem should be fixed now. Thanks.

Re: Old Rare T-shirt & Trivia Contest
I won't partake in the contest, since I have that shirt hanging in my room, thanks to the lovely miss Moni, who gave it to me when she came over for some Dutch shows. I think she said that lots of XL shirts were made, perhaps even only XL shirts? It's pretty big, but the design is super, so I have it on a clothes hanger like a painting on my wall.
Re: Old Rare T-shirt & Trivia Contest
I liked the design too, and I let my desire to buy merch override the logic of buying an article of clothing that actually fit.
At least this way it'll go to a loving home.
JR, why so much XL love? Any chance of some American Apparel/emaciated/Adam-sized merch next time?

Being and XL guy, ugh to American Apparel. But this was a very kind and generous offer of you.
I picked up an extra Teaspoon radio promo to eventually give away in a contest. Don't know what or when yet, though.

Aah see I knew I used to have that shirt once; it looked too familiar!
In my experience with band merch, the small- and medium-sized are usually the first ones to sell out, so I'll second Adam's call for more Adam- and Moni-sized shirts.

If anyone ever comes across a lightly used old LW "Don't Yell at Me" t-shirt, I'd love to have one.

oh mate, the Library's Economics section has existed in my mind from day one. Just don't have the time for it right now, but it will come one day. I strongly encourage everyone to post pics of their LW shirts here, that would be a great start!
