I'm extremely jealous. Those of you that live in New York...you get to live amongst CMJ next week...and, um, you get to live in New York. Those of you that live in the Northwest, well, you have the Long Winters, and even when they are gone on tour, you can't even walk down the street without stumbling over a great band.

But those of you that live in LA, I'm the most jealous right now, because you get to go to this:

Isn't this dangerous? Isn't this like the musical equivalent of a heroin overdose? And Matt Groening is walking around? I would so pass into nirvana before The Shins were finished with their set. I'm so green I shouldn't even have to eat, I should just be able to convert energy from the sun.

Now, I have no musical anything in eureka. It's actually gone backwards! Nothing but classic rock and regge, REGGE! CLAW MY EYES NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really, REALLY wanted to start a band here, but due to the variety of people, it may take awhile. Most people don't even know of Death Cab, or at least the recent emo favorite, Postal Service. Only saw one person, some girl wearing a modest mouse shirt, and thats it.

it's like one big circle of fuck here, seriously. Speaking of Death Cab, they're playing a show here on Nov. 11th I think, but without a ride, I'll have to skip out on that too.

Of course, but I shall defend my stance. I should of put quoation marks around emo, because whenever I talk about the music I listen to, I most commonly get, "oh, you listen to emo." Being that I was putting myself in the third-person of someone else from euerka, that is probably what would of been there response.

And to clarify, it's Nov. 18th with Nada Surf.

dude- im seeing the chili peppers tonight. guess what im missing. achance to hang with hoobastank and allamerican rejects! there was this offer for it andi ts too close to the chili peppers so i cant go. ill be lalte to the concert tonight- ive got school.
