BLAST YOU, NO PIC! AND A POX ON KRISTIN HERSH!

Fine, fine. All is well. A few deep breaths while I regain my composure.

An 's', then.

Slobberbone.

Oh, and Tullycraft defeats the Muses not only in obscurity, but in sheer effusive, childlike mirth and joy.

"Pop songs your new boyfriend's too stupid to know about" will one day be acclaimed by cultural historians as the Rosetta Stone for mid-90s independent pop, mark my words.

"Pop songs..." is one of those songs that has always grated on me. Indie elitism at its best/worst.

has anyone donated to the kindercore defense fund yet?

Pink

(it's the only one I could think of that didn't end in an 'S'...otherwise I've got great choices like the PixieS, Pinehurst KidS or the PosieS...)

But... the joy! The plaintiveness! The juvenile optimism! The encyclopedic namedropping!

I'm tempted to use the Bartlebys now to create an all "Pop songs..." bands theme, but I fear the response to that long a string of 's'es.

Thus:

Broonzy, Big Bill.
('Cause if you white, you alright, and if you brown, stick aroun' -- but if you black, un-uh brother... get back, get back, get back.)
