Les Thugs

(who was it again that didn't like French rock?, well, these guys sing in English, but with their thick accent you can't always tell. Their double album As Happy As Possible was my fave album for several years and for a Seattle link: they recorded it there with Kurt Bloch producing)

C'est moi. Je parle francais, mais... rock n roll in french gives me hives. it is unnatural.

I thought I should be able to find a dutch band or artist whose name ends on j, but so far no luck. maybe we should be checking the world music sections...

I would say this thread has reached and exceeded eMarathon (26.2 pages) status. CONGRATUALTIONS!

Everyone who made it this far gets a musical ironman medal.

I don't have a U-band, I just wanted to lay some praise.

continue...

Something must be wrong with the searchamabobber because it's saying that John Vanderslice hasn't been mentioned in this thread.

I refuse to believe it.

Um.

Can we start moving this thread toward some kind of happy resolution in the next few days?

Gracias,

okay, we're using up bandwidth that could be used discussing John's Santa appearance, we get the message, Merlin!

however, happy this resolution shall not be:
Die Monster Die

if anyone has got any band or artist gloomier than that, I'd say share, share, share

It's not a bad thing; I just think 27 pages is probably long enough for a totally cattywampus thread. I'm old-fashioned like that. :)

I'll close it out tomorrow.

Thanks, gang.
