now i'm all confused, is the computer named Bryce, or the phone or the car?

anyway, Jamal is a great name for a typewriter, and I'm glad to see I'm not alone in this habit

my computer is named daedelus, which my 8 year old thinks is brilliant. which, makes me feel...fuck, actually it makes me feel damn proud of my 8 year old!

i tried desperately to give my car a name because it's such a mom car...but nothing really stuck. if anybody's got any super great names for a red 1998 ford escort station wagon let me know.

oh, and btw, if you're in Mpls, you should come to my show tonight. It's at the Lone Tree Annex downtown, which i know is a crappy venue, but my band is not super crappy and if you come and talk to me i'll ... give you stickers or something. but especially you should come because i have a kidney infection and i'm going to play anyway, so it shoudl be super awesome, and someday you can all sit around and say 'yeah, i saw her this one time...'

hmmm, actually, now that i look at the thread again, i realize that there was no intitial topic that anyone could decipher anyway, so, i guess you can't really digress from a non-topic thread.

whew. that's a load off my mind!

now, cancel your plans and come to my show. yay!

really like your stuff thus far. if you're playing the next time in MN I'll be sure to be in attendance (from MN now in Chicago). I'll be sure to tell all my TC friends.

My first car's name was "Scrappy the Machine." I was living in a small town and everyone new my car by name-- parents, friends, etc. People would ask for a ride in Scrappy instead of just plain asking for a ride. It was an '81 Buick Century-- boat. I cried when it died out on me. Sad sad day.

My friend had a Citation. It had multi-colored rust spots and was named "The Technicolor Dream Citation." "Here comes Leah and the Technicolor Dream Citation."

The car I'm driving now is a friends and she hasn't named it and I don't feel right taking that liberty, however, if she does not come back and claim that right soon, I will be forced to intervene.

Haven't named new computer. Has given me too many problems, so don't feel it deserves to be affectionately called anything. Although, maybe it would treat me better if I caved in.

Plants have names as well. Not all-- but those I've had the longest. Chloey is my fav. A spider plant.

Awww had I known that you want to know I'd have told you. I hate to see The Bryce cry! (I'd hate to see the Bryce-meister cry, too)
EDIT: Oh and yeah, it's Monika. Nice to meet you!
