So I think once this is all wrapped up we should have a place to post the tracklists.

Hey that's an idea...everyone on the board who has a livejournal account should put "The Long Winters" as one of their interests and then we'd all be grouped.

Okay...there are a LOT of people who have that as an interest already, so I did it...I created a Long WInters community!!!
I hope all the LJ users on the board will sign up, it is called no_you_are...please email me if additional details are needed.

making you a cd is so hard! also, elf power = GOOD. walking with the beggar boys is definitely in my top 10 of 2004, so far.

ya know what's hard? Makin this damn tape! i haven't used this tape deck in 15 years, and somethins wrong with the record side, it's stuck. So I took the casing off, looks like the drive wheel gets stuck. So i hafta push play/record simultaneously, then literally flip the drive wheel with my finger to get it to move. Which wouldn't be so bad if'n I were recording a whole album, but song by song...Now that's a labor of love!

all that work for meeeee? goodness, i think i should make two cd's.

my tape player plays just fine but won't record. i don't really have the strength to figure out what is wrong with it, but i made someone a mix tape a few weeks ago and hooked a discman up to some very old stereo and made it that way. the sound is terrible, but it's the thought that counts.
(well, let's just hope he thinks that way.)
