silly longtime, rockstars aren't for dating. Didn't your momma ever tell you never to date a manic careerist?

Find yourself a sweetheart fanboy and sit around making moon eyes at eachother listening to rekkerds and then go to the show.

if you ever work at a landmark theatre, the training videos on fillin' up popcorn boxes and opening doors for people in wheelchairs are totally hosted by roger lodge. pre-blind date. 100% hilarious.

When I worked at REI the training video was hosted by Pat Cashman.

alright kids. do we really need to do this?

number one. maya angelou herself says that you cannot love someone else until you love yourself-- it's like trying to give another a shirt. when you're naked.

number two. you become easily convinced that you are not whole within yourself by many things, namely, the media, religion... basically all societal conditioning. this whole man and wife thing is not the only possibility. nor should it be. for some, sure. for all, NO.

number three. start a quest to find out who you are. it is not important to find out who you are in relation to others. that automatically happens. of course, you will never be in a vacuum (if you are we will never know. but that's cool too. actually, that's damn cool. how'd you do that?). when you are comfortable with yourself people will be drawn to you. although that's not always a good thing.

I'm sorry to come off all preachy, but I've been really disheartened as of late. so many friends and loved ones who think they are nothing without a significant other. BULLLL-SHHITE.

You can exist on your own. and it is not sad. you can own lots of cats and live in a big scary house and be happy. or you can do the opposite. happiness does not always mean 1.5 kids, a minivan, mortgage, and soccer practice. maybe for one it does, but not the next. branch out my friends. individuality.

I think that's where amputees come into the picture.

Whoa...
Ouch...
Please apologize for that...

PS-I know who I am, and I love me,
I hate me too...
I have 3 kids,
and I loathe minivans...

Amputation sounds a tad painful (and there may be issues with child protective services). Does the dog qualify as .5 kid?

We now have a politically acceptable response...
I may have a "Poison Tongue",
But I'm also a Vet, and a Dad...
