mmm. it almost reminds me of a pasty soy sauce.. but saltier or something? anyway, it's delicious. just be careful how much you put on or it's overkill. make sure you put a shitload of butter on first.. :)

i am a shreaded wheat junkie..i eat it faithfully everydasy. i put th e milk right onthe shreaded wheat, then sugar. my dad used to bake it!!!

why would anyone use vegemite when there is NUTELLA!!!!!!

Not a breakfast, per se, but did y'all ever make cheese toast? Ya need a toaster oven, single cheese-food slice on white bread, and the toaster turns the top of the cheese-food into a thin plastic substance, with the melted cheese-like product underneath-perfection!

I like vegemite and nutella (not together). vegemite does need lots of butter. its also good under grilled cheese. back in my school days we used to make grilled cheese on toast by turning the toaster on it's side. amazing no fires were started (well, in the kitchen at least)

Man, best thread ever, I love breakfast cereal!

I'm really partial to cinnamon toast crunch, fruity pebbles and oops, all berries as well, though I hardly ever buy them. I usually go for the responsible type cereals with dried fruit in them. With rice milk, mmm!

see, this is my point, why don't we have cinnamon cereal?!?

as for cheese toast: toast bread, put cheese on and one minute in microwave. best with some thyme or basil on the cheese.
lunch thing though, not my taste for breakfast.

I can't eat Fruity or Cocoa pebbles. They're not pebbles! They're like some kind of mutant multi (or mono for the Cocoa) colored dandruff. Eeeeew. Maybe it was Tucan Sam molting or Sugar Bear shedding. I don't know. They just look too gross.
Peanut Butter rocks for breakfast, especially the crunchy kind.
I'm partial to Special K or Total, or good ol' Cheerios or the Honey Nut variety as well.

Breakfast = 24 food! Viva la revolution!

I love me some Weetabix. A little pricey, but I got hooked on 'em in the UK and I still buy them as a treat sometimes. A little brown sugar, maybe some fresh strawberries and milk and you're good...mmm...

one of the reasons i keep going back to england is their breakfasts, but i have learned to steer clear of the weetabix early on; it thoroughly tastes like cardboard, in my humble opinion

This is such a completely random thread resurrection. *shrugs*

Being the resident non-sugar advocate here, my latest obsession is Kashi Go Lean, which is entirely defensible based on it's insane nutritional qualities (10g fiber! 13g protein!) but intruth, I like it because it says "Crunchy Fiber Twigs" on the box.

I like to tell people I start my day with a nice bowl of twigs. Literally.
