idrankhemlock, you have EXCELLENT taste in music.
i think i'm a bit fonder of King of Carrot Flowers Pt. 1
but virtually every NMH song does it for me. Jeff Mangum
is brilliant.
As for my "Favorite Song" at this moment, i would
have to say...
Oh, i hate this game. i'm no good at it.
1. Photobooth. Death Cab. (Thanks, Love)
2. Red Right Ankle. The Decemberists. (A near second)

"Rain Water," Brother Ali
"Action/Adventure," Andrew Bird
Ever:
"When I'm 64," the Beatles
"Song About a Star," Okkervil River
"Viceburgh," Lifter Puller

I actually took five minutes musing over this, when I should have known it's bloody impossible to choose one. Forget it.
I might be able to bring it down to a top 10, maybe a top 5.
Absolutely in it would be Prague by Mega City Four.
Most likely also The Lover's Hymn by Ken Stringfellow.
Over My Head by Grant Hart. Or Admiral of the Sea. Or 2541. Or...
You know what the trouble is with these things? Some artists are so good, that to choose just one song is impossible. Impossible!

liesbeth your right. i didnt think it would be so hard when i was first asking, well....because...i wasnt thinking to hard. then after i re read it a few times i thought how could anyone answer with only one song? but appearently there are some out there that can, just not me. everytime someone puts something down i think damn i should have said that or why did i forget all about that one.
