one day we will live in a huge mansion of bachelorettes, causing debacles and making messes of boys' lives. and then we'll start a band and sing songs about the boys and make people think that we are more than just heartbreakers.
i have a keyboard i can't play and sing off-key. let's go.
i can master the handclaps, stephanie has tambourine, meg's got the dancing/booty and heather handles the beer supply. deal? deal.

I met a guy from Baltimore who's probably from one or the other of the boards in line (didn't really occur to me at the time...), but I was my typical shy self once inside and rocked out by myself rather than searching for board folks.
And I'll add that I'd do just about anything (well, maybe not quite) for a recording of that one if something surfaces...
That's me! I'm going to go to sleep now as I just got in a few hours ago and have had 3 hours sleep in 48 hours. FOr now, yes, the show kicked ass.

I have to say that one of the most awesome moments of the last month was when Stephanie and I were both at the JV/Sufjan show in Brooklyn, simultaneously calling Heathers. She had you and I had The Professor. It was a beautiful moment.
So the other night I get this phone call from an ex-boyfirend I haven't talked to in about 5 months. He calls me and goes "Listen, I'm at the Harvey Danger show." And I'm like "What the fuck?" And he's like "I came because I know they're you're favorite band. I'm gonna see if I can get a poster signed for you or something." And he totally did. He got Sean to sign it and the singer from Nada Surf. Holy fucking hell. And he let me listen to them playing Carlotta Valdez over the phone. It was so fucking crazy and unexpected. He said he got me a t-shirt too.
