yeah. I do. BOOOOOO ON CIGARETTES.

Cigarettes are my enemy. I think they are aesthetically beautiful, insanely sexy, and nicotine is a pleasure I find perfect in it's duration and degree.

And yet they are so damn GROSS.

And they make you feel like shit.

And I've quit for two years now, but I'm fairly certain that craving is never going to fully go away. Never, EVER, start smoking.

I hate you cigarettes.

Hi, I'm Liesbeth and I was a smoker.

The (only) good thing about it is that if you manage to beat the craving, it gives you a really good feeling.
I very nearly smoked again last night, was saved only by the fact that I don't like cigarettes but always rolled my own or I would have bummed one for sure. But I didn't. And I'm fxxxing proud of it!
(fellow ex-smokers applaud, Liesbeth thanks group)

Travelers, lovesicky, why can't we all be travelers? haha...the word "tourist" gives me gooseflesh.

My very cool boss just got laid off this morning. As did another cool manager. As if an entire "quality department" Second wave of layoffs this week. (Yeah GDub, the ecomony is looking up. riiiiiiight.)

I just know they are gonna put me with one of those managers I've heard horror stories about...the ones that make you do all sorts of "team building" bullshit and feed you corporate nonsense. That is, if I keep my job.

However, I'm a big fan of capitolism. And I've made peace with money.

Of course, if you like money, Gdub is still your enemy. Greenspan gets reappointed! BOOO on GREENSPAN.

"lovesicky" is awesome, and "Travellers" it is.

I dont' mind the money part so much, but socialism looks sooo much more attractive! Perhaps is the Greener grass on that side.

GDub gets a big boo from me too.

Burger Joints get a boo today, cause I ate a Quiznos, and now I know what I'm missing.

Boo on gooseflesh and goosepimples, because everyone knows the correct verbage is goosebumps. It was a national phenomena of childrens' books. And boo on me for not being 100% sure whether phenomena is the correct pluralization. And while I'm at it boo on coffee which I love/am addicted to, but gives me the foams.

I sometimes use "goosebumps" but...yeah, those books made the word lose its flava. I like gooseflesh precisely because it's kinda gross.

Also "phenomena" is correct, but makes me hum that "Menah menah...da..da.dee.da.da" muppets thing, "Penomena...da da dee da da"

Oh the associations we have.

But Coffee....oh yes...I drink copious amounts and have no plans to ever stop. But the "foams"?......ew.

You have to realize it's a lot of pressure walking up to the checkout of a Sonic Boom. It's easy to feel superior as you walk into a Wherehouse that's blasting "Toxic" because you realize that all the bands you like the punk behind the counter has never heard of and the store probably doesn't even carry. But at a Sonic Boom...well now, the person you see working behind the counter there is someone you instantly hold in high esteem and at the same realize that no matter what combination of albums you select, they will not be impressed.

Yes! It was almost as hilarious as the article about the couple who broke up cause they lived in the same apartment bldg (different floors) who needed more space.

Olympia might in fact be better. As long as you don't mind the hour and a half drive to Seattle. I lived in a great apartment overlooking Sylvester park in Olympia.
