It is warm enough to ski naked!
Naked Schönfelder re-defines losing streak
WENGEN, Switzerland (Reuters) - Austrian World Cup skier Rainer Schönfelder put the warm weather conditions in Europe to a true test on Wednesday when he went on a naked ski run alongside the famed Lauberhorn downhill course.
[...]
Schönfelder said he told his physio he would ski naked if his pains had eased by Wednesday morning.
"Somehow I didn't notice the photographer," Schönfelder said. "It was a private bet and of course the whole thing wasn't planned for the public. I am happy though that the pains have eased up and that it was not cold when I carried out my forfeit."

thanks sour29, but for it to really look like a snow angel, i'll need a photo assistant (my gal should do nicely)... and a new download cord to publish... my canon cord was another loss in my recent car theft... soon... i did get a photo of the depth of snow on my hand rail... over 10" here...
my girl got the school snowday... i got the late campus opening, so pardon me, while i negotiate a sitter for my afternoon class schedule today...
as for naked skiing, though proof of the snow's impact on his beans and frankfurter shrinkage was clearly a victim of the photographer's shooting angle, the ass tattoo provided aft compensation... gotta love a cute forfeit... thanks moni!

in the interest of fairplay and gender-specific warm fuzzies, would someone please find sour a nice naked femme skier photo, so we can all feel a little warmer... (;-D)
edit: sorry sour, though i did see more than i really wanted to in my quest for fairness (just going the extra mile for my friend here), no naked femme link for you here, but i'm hopeful someone else will find your elusive naked snowbunny. in the meantime here's a link to keep you busy http://expn.go.com/expn/winterx/2003/st ... rs_bleiler

forever's a mighty long time...Harvey Winters wrote:Now sour hasta love you forever...
I hope you're a person of your word...
no no, HW... nothing literal here... in the realm of birthday fun possibilities it was a few moments well spent... i'm busy listening to a very happy waylaid santa cd package routed from canada... the snow in my world has rendered the snail mail extra slow and sluggish... but the clouds are parting soon...
and i don't have to wonder...

I think I know where everyone's winter has gone - it is here in Austin! I cannot believe it, but we are entering our third snow day in a row. Not that there is much snow really, mainly sleet and freezing rain, but us Texans don't even own ice scrapers, so it is safest for everyone if we just stay inside.
All the schools and most of the businesses here are closed for the third day now. In all my 24 years in Texas, I have never seen three snow days separately, let alone all in a row. For once I am grateful that Mon, Tues, Wed, are my days off. Apparently, those that were working at the homeless shelter that I work at for the 3pm-11pm shift on Monday are still there! No one will come and relieve them.
I think I must venture out for my 12am - 8am shift tonight though, if for no other reason than that I feel terrible for my co-workers. Wish me luck, I'll try and be a good Texas driver on the ice! Anytime you want your "wintry mix" back, I think we will be glad to oblige here in Austin. Making miniature snowmen was fun, but I'm getting stir crazy.
