Matthew has a blog on the Nada Surf website where he said the album was done and going into post in April. It's not unheard of that Ben and John go in to track a couple of extra vocals -- but that's not unusual. John, Ben and Matthew have shared vocal credits on many of their respective bands' releases! I should put together a list...

And Nada Surf did do some of their album work in Seattle. It really does make a lot of sense. I'm super exicted for new Nada Surf!

If they come to your house, there had better be a spot for me in your teeny tiny apartment (that is much, much larger than mine).

I hope Nada Surf's album ACTUALLY comes out this fall. I remember TWIAG came out something like 11 months after Matthew said it was projected to. GAWD that was a long wait for a gift (get it? har har)

Alas. Consider my bubble somewhat burst. :(

Oh well. We still have Rocky and JV's albums this year, at the very least! That's something.

Oh, how I cannot wait for the JV album! He played a new song (or two) the last time he was in town and it sounded very very good.

i cannot believe i didn't post in this thread yet. Perhaps because I have nothing to add that isn't said before. And I'm possibly drooling all over the computer at the thought of this and that might put someone off their bacon icecream.

Anyone who wants to come by the office and bring me a chocolate soda can have a free full-art promo of Emerald City.

Except for you, John. You're still dead to me.

Do you actually drink those, or do you just use them to power Christopher's lasers?

Wow. I've never even heard of chocolate soda.

There's that, and you're on the opposite side of the continent.
