Look, you only get a chance to play the grand reopening of Westfield at Southcenter Mall a few times in your career, and the fact that this was happening at nine AM just sealed the deal for me. I was like, wow, perfect storm. The fact that it alienates Forrest is just an added benefit.

And yes, if you scrape together enough cash I will play your kitchen.

I'm silk screening some commemorative t-shirts at this very moment...

seriously? cause i was always wondering about that. Like, had my engagement not went belly-up, i wanted to see if you'd come hang out in nyc and play our wedding at the brooklyn botanical garden. but nevermind that now.

Show was great, albeit surreal. John's voice was sounding fantastic, and the sound system sounded good also. I think that changing the song to "Cinnabon" might have been a little over the line on crass commercialism, but I'm not one to judge. I usually leave that sort of thing to Forrest.

Well if you're already playing the opening of a mall, you might as well go the whole nine yards, no? i cannot wait for the indie kids (and Forrest) to get all terribly upset about this!

edit: sorry to hear about the non-wedding, leigh. that's a really shitty thing to happen to anyone.

this is how they re-open a mall in tukwila, wa. oh wait - not a mall - a shopping center, right?

i have some videos (including "mimi") that turned out pretty well, but are huge (about 142MB) and i don't have anywhere to upload them. any ideas?

Youtube? I think it'll take anything up to 1GB as long as it's less than 10 minutes long...

Also, did JRod make an aerial entrance with the acrobats? That woulda been sweet.

Sorry, I'm seriously retarded sometimes. I don't even have an excuse for mixing you guys up, except that I apparently just didn't pay attention.
That sounds pretty bad also, tho :(
