Well, I'll be.
Not terribly close to me, but tempting. (Orlando's about 2.5 hours' drive north.)

Although it's not listed, John and Jonathan will also be doing a show in New York on 12/14: http://www.citywinery.com/newyork/one-c ... 12-14.html.

Re: John joining JoCo Christmas Tour
That, alas, is an even farther drive.
Re: John joining JoCo Christmas Tour
I bought tickets for the L.A. Show (living in L.A. myself), hoping John would be there. I had to get tickets for the San Diego show the following night. That's a 2.5 hr drive in itself lol.
Re: John joining JoCo Christmas Tour
I was too late to catch this but the Salt Lake City show was available to stream : http://www.jonathancoulton.com/2012/11/ ... city-show/. I don't know if this will be a regular thing but you may want to keep an eye on Jonathan's website in case they do this again. If they don't I hope the SLC show will be available to purchase later.

The NY show has just been announced: 14 December at the City Winery:

Wondering if the title means they will play all 10 Christmas songs. Correction, 9 Christmas songs and one Channukah song.

THIS is how organized I am - I just thought, Hey, isn't this happening this week? Maybe I can scrape together a few nickels for gas money and try to sneak in when the bouncer sneezes after all. Let me go check where and when this is happening.
Sigh.
Sigh.

oh no! I thought of you, should I have sent you a mail saying have fun at the Florida shows?
oh well, perhaps John will visit Florida again some time, say, in 10 years' time...
until then you remain the most active Long Winters live virgin ever.

Re: John joining JoCo Christmas Tour
I can vouch from personal experience that the Dallas show at The Granada was really, really great. John's set was excellent - between the songs and the banter he seemed to win the local JoCo-centric audience over. Despite being huge Long Winters nerds, my wife and I had never seen John live, either solo or with the band, so this was a real treat.
Aaaaaaand we got to meet him afterward and take a photo. He's as cool a guy in person as you'd think.
The setlist for John's set was:
Scared Straight
Bride & Bridle
Shapes
Not Moving To Portland
Pushover
The Commander Thinks Aloud
