If TLW plays in a foreign country, would they still accept American dollars in said foreign country for merch at shows?

Whoa, only I can answer this question. I'll answer it thusly: If the day comes that I won't accept good ole' American greenbacks at a Long Winters show, and I don't care if we're playing in a spaceport bar on the seventh moon of the fifth planet of the smallest star in Betelguese, then I want you to smear me in lip-balm and shove me ass-up into an Arby's 'Horsey sauce' dispenser.

Man. Just when I think I've finally estimated the borders of your poetic imagination, you show up 10 miles west of the last fence.

God bless you.

I have to say this before grant does:
Betelgeuse actually is a star (in the star constellation Orion). An immensely huge one actually. Its diameter is about 3-400 times bigger than the diameter of our sun.

Anyway................
I was wondering if there will be merch at all at the Euro shows...?

I was going to let that one pass; in such poetic expressions, it's best to let beauty supersede truth.

However, it may interest some of you to learn that "Betelgeuse" is Arabic for "Armpit of the Central One." European astronomers more generously describe the star as the shoulder of Orion, the Hunter, but their predecessors were far less fastidious.

That is very true...

... but of course you had to surpass me. Dammit ;)

Talking about merchandise, my husband went to a Josh Rouse gig last week and apparently all the girls wanted to have those Josh Rouse panties. From what Stefan was saying is sounded like they had Josh's photo on 'm, but I just checked the board on his website and it turns out to be the logo of his album. Still, great idea for merch if you have enough of a female audience.
I can just picture some of that beautiful artwork of WIPTF....

Ah, and I didn't know. There goes my carefully created rock chick image...

Still, heavy metal is not the genre where most girls can be found in the audience. Is it something for the men to take home for their gals, or meant to lure the girls to the arena?

ya know, my original thought would be the former, something for the guys to take home to their gals, but i never would have thought of your latter idea. actually i think what it might be is that a lot of bands in that genre, their merch is not really female friendly, maybe that's why the panties??

I think that the 'Pretend to Fall' artwork on a pair of panties might be a little... distracting.

And not just to me.

*thinks twice*

yikes!

yeah, the artwork is a little busy, perhaps, for panties. but how about just Stupid? Or TLW? Or a line from a song....maybe...ok, no that would just be tasteless. someone shut me up before i make an ass of myself...

They should say "No, you are!" in big fat letters on them. That would be awesome.

or maybe:

"you were looted, you opened wide."

or perhaps:

"i came back on the trail of a man."

or why not:

"i've long since quit feeling my hands."

or how about:

"burrow into a spot."

i will continue to think on this.

("fragrant vibrations"?)
