I went through The Long Winters' booking agent. There's a link on the site somewhere.

It'd be really nice to hear 'New Year' by DCFC (or anyone else who decides it's cover-worthy) that night...what are the odds?

Yah, but then you change your mind when your six year old daughter is dyin' to go see those guys sing that song about the shapes... the poor child couldn't stand in line long enough at bumbershoot. what's a girl to do?

yo, i/c, missed yer post. were ya there? pretty mellow but great show. & the Theater Fire just gets better. unfortunately, i now have The Testicle Song in my head "one is for God, one is for country..." if'n i were younger, i would prolly drive up to OK to see 'em tonite again.
OK, y'all, I heard the funniest thing on KTCK yest:
Corby Davidson: " So Shaq, let's say hypothetically, that you have a choice to make. Your choice is between losing every game against Sacramento for the rest of your career, or having Earl Boynkins' penis."
Shaquille O'Neil: "Corby, you fool, Earl Boynkins IS my penis".

and let us not forget that hannukah starts this friday.
as an atheist, i don't get self-righteous about the judaism thing except around the holidays.
perhaps someone will serenade ya'll with "light one candle." a neo-hannukah classic.

I know it's last minute, but Andrew from the EMP is putting on a cover-night at the Sunset Tavern this Saturday night where we're covering the White Album in order, front to back, and I'm doing two of the songs. Lots of other great musicians, Scott MacCaughy, y'know, the usual culprits. My songs are Cry Baby Cry and Dear Prudence. Come if you can.
