Holy shit, a four-man Long Winters?!? I don't think my widdle bwain can handle it. I'm used to bands going down from four members, but this...oh no, I've gone all cross-eyed.

there once was a five-man Long Winters, but even the band couldn't handle that; something about the five sides of the pentangle? gosh, I don't remember...

I hope that the new pimp-o-matic one-cd-every-other-month scheme is not an idle promise, but since that whole about section is in geared-up ad lingo, I suppose it's my hope that's idle.

they were only a 3-man Long Winters for about a year, you'll get used to it being 4 again before you know it!

Doesn't he also own Sonic Boom or something too? Mike Squires is also in Alien Crime Syndicate as well. Wasn't he in Harvey Danger for a short while too (along with J-Rod)? I am excited by this lineup.

have you people not learned yet that seattle bands are incestuous?!?! if you have only been in one band then you must be new in town. most band people around here have been in at least a few, if not up to a handful, of bands. and sometimes all at once.

i heard the news about mike recently and thought it was odd since i had last seen mike in portland and he said he had quit music. guess someone (john?) talked him out of it. who i believe would be a good one to do it since he himself quit and was talked out of it.

so i'm wondering...did ACS finally throw in the towel if a member is going to be in another band or is this like a jason finn thing where you get loaned out?

i'm excited to see a full band again. 3 piece or otherwise.

Mr. Squires joined J-Rod with Bo and M. Shilling for belted-out renditions of "Never Tear Us Apart" (INXS) and Zepplin's "All My Love" at Aaron Huffman's wedding reception at The Baltic Room mid-May.

It was a sight.

I'm looking forward to new things.
