I didn't realize I'd taken so many of Mike. Come to think of it, I took a lot of him in Nashville too- those photos aren't developed yet however.

Rilo Kiley is AWESOME. They opened for Coldplay at their concert last Saturday and they were fantastic! I took a looksee at Barsuk's website - lots of bands I really like!

I was considering going to Coldplay to see Rilo Kiley.

After that, I would have left, though... I'll wait til they come back near me either as the headliner, or as a support to a band I actually like.

You may very well have an opinion of them already, but http://www.thelongwinters.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=1409

Weakerthans gets you points here! Sometimes I feel responsible for the inaccessible hard-coreness of current Propagandi...I frequently wished for a whole album of just those biting, beautiful ballads. And what do you know...The Weakerthans. I love. (but I kinda miss my Jesus H. Chris.)

Anywho, nice pics to whoever posted them. I very much appreciate.

Since this album was just rereleased on Domino Records, the almighty http://www.pitchforkmedia.com just re-reviewed it, with a new historical perspective on the album, sicne it's been out for seven years now, and gave it a 10.0! I can only remember one other album recieving a perfect 10 from p-fork (and they review 5 albums a day), which was, you guessed it, Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.

is all the elephant 6 stuff getting re-released?

ive never checked out pitchforkmedia - but the few times ive heard it mentioned by my friends - it was with disdain

Haha, I thought the same thing "Why is being re-released?"

Everyone who is going to buy that album, owns it already. And it was released on Merge, we're not talking super-indie. It's EASY to get a hold of.

I don't know about other E6 bands. I THINK, that a few others are getting their albums put back out there again on Domino. OTC, maybe. Apples? Dunno- can't remember.

Also, if you're a Clap Your Hands fan, do you like Wolf Parade?

Well, the new Wolf Parade album came out on Sub Pop. And my god, there was so much hype around that release. And I checked it out and it's really good, and the first comparison I thought of, was Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, mainly as a result of the similar vocal-stylings.
